On Saturday 17 September, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala personally attended the largest European security show in Europe, NATO Days in Ostrava, this year organised with the participation of nineteen partner countries. Among the exhibits that he had the opportunity to see during his visit was a domestically produced Zetor Gerlach armoured vehicle. The technical parameters of the vehicle and the possibilities of various conversions for the needs of the armed forces and rescue services were presented to the Prime Minister by Ing. Josef Bečvář, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brno-based company Zetor Defence, which is entering the market with this vehicle.
Other distinguished guests at the Zetor Defence stand included the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Markéta Pekarová Adamová, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, Major General Karel Řehka.
