The International Defence and Security Technologies Fair (IDET), held every two years in Brno, presents a major opportunity for two key subsidiaries of the SKUPINA, a.s. holding—GLOMEX Military Supplies and Bowenite—to showcase new products and services.

This year, GLOMEX Military Supplies introduced its range of combat drones for the first time at IDET. These are FPV (First Person View) drones—unmanned aerial vehicles remotely controlled by an operator using FPV goggles, which provide a first-person perspective. FPV-class drones are primarily designed for the elimination of enemy targets, and their design also allows control via fiber optics, preventing electronic jamming.

Also making its Brno debut was an upgraded version of the Toyota Chamois vehicle, equipped with a 12.7 mm automatic weapon station. Norwegian company Storm Vanguard showcased its modular RADS platform, featuring the quick-release DockLock system. This allows for rapid transformation of light utility vehicles, such as the Toyota Hilux, into operational support vehicles equipped with a full range of modules, including a container-based launcher for attack drones.

At the GLOMEX Military Supplies stand, the Enforcer-X shoulder-launched guided missile from MBDA had its exhibition premiere. MBDA also presented its Meteor air-to-air missile, with a range of up to 200 km. The American-German company Walaris unveiled its unique AirScout mobile anti-drone system, which utilizes artificial intelligence. A long-term partner of GLOMEX Military Supplies, Lufthansa Technik, presented not only a new generation of its special PTU (Patient Transport Unit) for airlifting patients in critical condition, but also introduced its proposed interior modernization solution for both Airbus aircraft of the Czech government fleet.
